Nestled in woodland, Woodhall Park House is situated in the hamlet of Woodhall on a small livestock farm. The popular Dales village of Askrigg with its famous James Herriot connections is just 2 miles away.
Askrigg has a very well stocked shop, tearoom with deli and 3 pubs that all serve food. The spectacular Aysgarth falls are nearby and Hawes, the bustling market town renowned for its cheese is about 7 miles away.
Surrounded by our own fields, there are superb walks from the doorstep and with two traditional ponds to explore, this is an ideal place to bring your pets.
Fly fishing is available by separate negotiation.
Part of a 17th Century, Grade ll Listed farmhouse the property has been tastefully decorated and furnished making the most of the character features including exposed beams and feature fireplace.
Living accommodation is spacious with plenty of seating, a well-equipped modern fitted kitchen and extendable dining table. There is oil central heating throughout and a useful utility room, excellent for drying wet clothes and pets! Bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space with two rooms having spectacular views across the Dale and the others with a pretty woodland outlook. All beds are made up with 300 thread count Egyptian cotton linen.
There is Wi-Fi access, Satellite TV, DVD player and plenty of fire wood provided for the stove. Travel cot and high chair available on request.

In light of the Tour De France in our area on Saturday 5th July 2014 we would like to offer our holiday cottage to let for the week. We are flexible on dates from Monday 30th June so guests can arrive and leave as and when they like.
