Do you enjoy working with volunteers of all ages, and are you passionate about their work and looking after the Yorkshire Dales National Park?

We are looking for someone to help us develop and coordinate the Authority’s volunteer services including our long-term volunteers (Dales Volunteers). The post-holder will work alongside our teams to expand volunteering across all our work programmes and co-ordinate all aspects of volunteering including the development of broad strategies and action plans to help build capacity.

Extensive experience of working with volunteers is essential as well as experience in providing good customer service. The post will lead a team of ‘key’ volunteers and the ability to work alongside and motivate people of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds is essential. You should also be an excellent communicator with experience of public speaking, with good analytical skills to produce clear and concise written materials including reports.
