This 17th Century semi detached farmhouse sleeps seven people in four bedrooms in the village of Newbiggin in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Eastburn Cottage is a superb, 17th Century, Grade II listed, semi detached farmhouse in the village of Newbiggin, just a few miles from Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage can sleep seven people in its four bedrooms which are made up of one ground floor double with ensuite, a first floor double with ensuite and a twin and a single room. The cottage also has a family bathroom. On the ground floor the cottage has a kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn stove, a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars, storage for bikes and a large enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and a BBQ. Eastburn Cottage is a perfect example of an old fashioned Yorkshire Dales cottage that has been renovated to a high standard and would be ideal for a superb family holiday.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of the dales.
Eastburn cottage is a beautiful house in the middle of a lovely quiet village. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. The downstairs bedroom was great for my parents as my mum is a little unstable on her feet . All the upstairs room were comfortable and the addition of the ensuites to both the master bedrooms is a bonus. The kitchen was a lovely place to cook a meal with everything close to hand and great views over the dales. The small enlcosed garden was lovely to sit out in on the warm summer nights . Within 10 mins drive there are several good pubs around, but i would recommend the 10 min walk to the end of the lane to the street head inn ( see seperate review ) its worth the walk. All in all this was a lovely family break in a beautiful cottage set in lovely suroundings.
