Cottages Bainbridge England
Johnnies Cottage 81 17
Bainbridge is a picturesque village situated between the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. It has lots of history with the remains of a roman fort built in the first century AD close by. The village boasts a wide sweeping village green complete with stocks and there are plenty of amenities with a good pub, tearoom, village shop and Post office. Bainbridge is an unspoilt Dales village with the shortest river in England, the river Bain flowing through it from Lake Semerwater in Raydale on its way to join the river Ure further downstream. Surrounded by dramatic and breathtaking countryside the cottage is an ideal base for walking or touring the Dales.
